As a valued community partner, we would like to invite you to participate in our Blues, Brews, and BBQ on October 05, 2024 at Docville Farm. The festival features locally brewed beer, delicious BBQ, and great blues music. With the continuing help and support of the Meraux Foundation, this year’s proceeds will go to the Community Center of St. Bernard to help continue in the fight to end food insecurity in our parish.
The event is free and open to the public. We are asking our sponsors to help underwrite the production and expansion of the signature festival. This annual event gathers attendees from across the region while raising money to fund the programs that the Community Center offers: the Food Pantry, the Backpack Program, Summer Fuel: Summer Feeding Initiative and the Hygiene Program. Through these programs the Community Center feeds over 600 residents a month and 250+ students a week in our public schools who do not have access to meals over the weekend.
